The National Space Centre - 24/10/22

Recently, I visited the National Space Centre with my cousins, who are 9 and 11. I would certainly recommend it for everyone, even if you don’t think you are interested in space. There are many different areas here, with my favourite being ‘Our Solar System’, where you can learn all about the different planets, with many interactive activities. The other galleries included information about astronauts and space travel, exploring further into the universe, as well as closer to home on Earth. We even; went on the Tetrastar Spaceport ride - which was like a ride through space that had many different interactive, fun activities for the whole family; climbed the Rocket Tower, and enjoyed a show in the Planetarium. There was so much to see, do and learn that it’s almost too much to take in all in one day, so I am looking forward to returning at some point!

My favourite fact of the day was that Saturn is less dense than water, so it you found an expanse of water large enough, it would float!
